The story
A universe where Mexican culture meets epic fantasy. Where handcrafted alebrijes from Oaxaca come to life with a purpose: to inspire and teach about environmental stewardship. Where every battle against environmental destruction is also a battle against forgetting where we come from and who we are.
Because the planet doesn't need superheroes. It needs guardians.

There are songs that entertain and songs that awaken. The Guardian Cuicatls are both at the same time. This first album by Guardian Alebrijes brings together fourteen original pieces born from the encounter between Mesoamerican mythology, Mexico's endemic biodiversity, and the love for nature that lives in every child who chooses to care for it . From a lullaby to a celebratory anthem, each song is a gateway to the universe of the guardians: beings of color, roots, and memory that awaken when someone sings to them.
